Established in 2010, the Texas Scholastic Clay Target Program, Inc. is committed to supporting organized youth, high school and collegiate clay target shooting programs across the state of Texas. As of Sept 1, 2024, Texas SCTP will officially operate as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The primary functions of Texas SCTP, Inc. are to raise money, provide funding, and financial support to Texas programs and their coaches.
Texas Scholastic Clay Target Program is the largest, fastest growing, and most exciting youth clay target program in Texas. We provide students from elementary through high school and college the chance to compete in sports such as trap, skeet, and sporting clays. As well as Olympic disciplines like bunker trap and international skeet. Texas SCTP welcomes all High School Leagues, Rodeo Teams, Club Teams, 4-H, FFA, Scouts, etc...
With support provided by our sponsors, Texas SCTP, Inc., and its volunteer board of directors will be able to provide funding and therefore more opportunities to school and club-based teams, coaches and shooting sports student athletes. Below are just some of the efforts Texas SCTP, Inc. has created for Texas youth clay target programs:
